The Formax FD 6404-Special 4 Folder & Inserter is a versatile machine with a modular design featuring 2 to 6 fully-automatic feed stations, allowing for efficient processing of documents. With a processing capacity of up to 4,000 envelopes per hour, this inserter streamlines high-volume mailing tasks.
Equipped with AutoSet technology, installation and configuration are simplified, enhancing user convenience. The machine comes pre-installed with fold types such as C, Half, Z, Double Parallel, and no fold, catering to diverse folding needs. Users can easily operate the 25 programmable fold applications through the intuitive color touch-screen control panel, displaying all settings for ease of use.
- The durable foam rollers ensure smooth functioning, while the seal and non-seal capabilities in one product enhance versatility.
- Monitoring the process is made efficient with the water level detection feature, ensuring optimal performance.
- For precision, the inserter is equipped with 4 adjustable insert fingers and a double document detection feature to prevent overfilling envelopes.
The Formax FD 6404-Special 4 comes with 2 basic Feeders and 2 Special Feeders, each capable of handling up to 325 sheets, allowing for a total processing capacity of 1,300 sheets. The special feeders can accommodate glossy or thick stock paper, expanding the range of materials that can be processed.
Users can benefit from the sealed fluid level indicator for timely refilling of the sealing solution and store up to 25 jobs in the inserter's memory for repetitive tasks.
