The FD 442 features a photo eye sensor that automatically starts and stops the feed tires, allowing for seamless hands-free operation. It handles mixed mail up to 3/16" thick in sizes ranging from #10 envelopes to 10" x 13" flats. Simply flip up the convenient infeed extension to support large envelopes, and adjust the freestanding catch tray for neat stacking. LED status indicators show if the envelope opener is powered, running, or jammed, while the self-adjusting feeding system adapts to various envelope thicknesses automatically.
